And ignoring Grantland is mostly what I’ll do. Gladwell will be unreadable 8 out of 10 times and Simmons will be infuriating. I stick to Klosterman as his take is always original enough no matter what he is talking about. I think there are detractors for this website already because it doesn’t seem like an original idea that was necessary at all. Sports opinions with pop culture references? Didn’t the editor of said website already create that as his brand? Do we need more of it? What I think we rather need is more FreeDarko stream of conscious, abstract thinking, but unfortunately that site just closed.
